Most people only focus on the abs, the chest or the arms. Don't forget how important it is to also work your legs, and that's why this article will provide you some great exercises for leg muscles.
Seated calf rise is another exercise. For this one, you need to sit on a bench and put a dumbbell on your thighs. Keep in mind that you need a block like object before you, so you can place your feet on it. Then, lift your legs and lower then back until you almost hit the ground, but without actually touching it. Repeat the exercise as much as you can.
Another great exercise is squat, because it makes you work your entire lower body. For this exercise, put a barbell behind you neck and then lower yourself, keeping the back straight, until your thighs are parallel to the ground. Then push yourself up and repeat the exercise.
Since you've already placed the dumbbells behind your neck, you can try another exercise. Stand straight, then take a step forward, with only one foot. You need to get with your legs in a 90 degree angle, the knees bent, and the back straight.
Focusing on the hamstrings, you need to place yourself on the leg curl machine, after you've adjusted it as you need it, and make sure you don't bend your legs. Then, curl them up and return in the normal position. You can also sit at the press machine and put your feet on that footplate, pressing it until you feel your legs extended 95%. This is a great exercise for your entire lower body.
An exercise that will focus on your lower body is called hack squat. Go to the machine with the same name and stand with your feet apart shoulders width. Then, lower yourself so you can be with your thighs parallel to the ground.
